2012 Gregory Falls Award - R. Hamilton Wright

Theatre Puget Sound is proud to honor R. Hamilton Wright as the 15th annual recipient of the Gregory A. Falls Sustained Achievement Award.  This award honors an individual who has devoted time, energy and talent to Seattle’s theatre community, and whose career has had an influence on theatre locally and beyond.  Theatre Puget Sound will present the award to Mr. Wright at the 2012 Gregory Awards, October 29th at ACT Theatre.

R. Hamilton Wright

R. Hamilton Wright has been a professional actor for thirty-five years and in that time he has appeared in over 130 productions. You’d think he’d have figured it out by now. He  was last seen on stage this season at ACT Theatre in Seattle in The Pitmen Painters by Lee Hall and One Slight Hitch by Lewis Black. He directed A.R. Gurney’s Sylvia this last season for The Seattle Repertory Theatre. He worked as co-adaptor, along with his old friend David Pichette, on James M. Cain’s Double Indemnity, which received its World Premier at ACT Theatre, directed by Kurt Beattie, in 2011. Mr. Wright lives in a little brick house in North Seattle with his delightful wife Katie Forgette.
